Welcome to Le Croix Academy for the Performing Arts!Allow us to introduce ourselves:
Le Croix [pronounced luh-kwah]. Origin: French. Translation: The intersection or the cross. Why did we choose Le Croix Academy as our name? Because students enrolled at Le Croix Academy for the Performing Arts learn from the intersection where all four areas of the performing arts come together to create well-rounded dancers, actors, musicians, and performers. At L.C.A. we empower students so they can empower others! Conveniently located in Gastonia, NC (within 30 minutes of downtown Charlotte, NC), L.C.A. is a large 7,700 square foot facility with four spacious classrooms, professionally raised dance flooring, full wall mirrors, high quality ballet barres, three restrooms, a locker room, industry qualified equipment, a comfortable lobby, and a self-serve coffee bar. Also the home of the North Carolina Youth Ballet Company, L.C.A. provides a wonderful and friendly mix of both ballet company members and technique-focused students who help each other excel and who work together to achieve their dreams. An all-inclusive performing arts family, a non-competition atmosphere, clean music and choreography, a modest dress code, and a dedicated, passionate team of instructors are what's in store at Le Croix Academy - and we want you to join us!
