BalletBallet technique classes are essential to developing a proficient dancer. Classes focus on the fundamentals including proper posture, proper technical form, rhythm development, coordination, and body lines. French ballet terminology is taught and used throughout all levels to naturally allow the dancer to learn and use the appropriate dance vocabulary. Classes include barre work, progressions across the floor, and center combinations. Ballet technique is the foundation for ALL dance movement/styles; therefore, it is required that all female dancers participate in at least one ballet class per week in order to register for jazz or tap classes.
